A wonderful program for first timers or experienced marathoners. You'll get better and you'll have fun doing it.
This is a wonderful program and I'd recommend it to everyone. If you are on the, um, slow slide, don't be dissuaded by all the speedy folks who are there. This program is for you too and you can do it (and have fun!).

Great, love the early morning runs and the plans - I trained for my first half marathon and completed at 48 years old with no injury and feeling great (except for race day...due to weather!)
If I'd done that 5 years ago, I might have BQ'd sooner. Highly recommended.

Well-organized; I liked the water stops and the gatorage/clif bars at the end.
Loved it! I've encouraged all my friends who are thinking about racing to join. I've got nothing but good things to say about it. Was the sole reason why I was able to run my first marathon and do a decent job at it. Held me accountable to the point that I actually looked forward to getting up at 5:15 on a Saturday morning. I'm not a morning person.
And I would do it again! could not have done this without Mark and the program.

First time participating in the training program. Nice locations for the Saturday run. I got to see parts of Virginia that I have never realized existed before I did those Saturday morning runs.
Truly a plus for anybody that's going to run a long distance race.
