For the half it was pretty flat. A little less hilly than Charlottesville.

This was my first half, which I pulled my hip less than half way through. But I would say fast.

10-very well organized

Again this was my first half so I'm not able to base it on anything else. The expo was less than I expected. The start was right at the expo area. I think they had enough facilities. I didn't use the baggage area. The rain had started and got heavy so I think the refreshment area was somewhat unused as it was in the open. I did get to use the emergancy area after I finished, and all the personell there were helpful and friendly.

I hope to go to this race again next year. The shirt is really nice as well as the medal. I didn't stick around for the age group winners so I'll have to get my 2nd place finish in my age group award in the mail. The crowds were out in the beginning of the race as it was residential. They had plenty of water and first aide stations. I didn't use tha restrooms on the course, but it looked there were few and far in between. They did offer power ade along with water along with gel at certain locations. I thought it was a very well run race and would recommend it to anyone from this area given it's just a 2 1/2 hour drive.
