Very well organized. The expo wasn't the greatest. The water stations were phenomenal. Very quick to get water and/or gatorade. Water handlers were well spaced out at each stop - you didn't have to trip over people to get water. There were also a good number of stops along the route.
Crowd support was better than expected. The course takes you through the suburbs of Columbus, the downtown area and the historic downtown area. It makes about three "petal"-like loops that come back through a different part of the downtown. You never run on highway. The quietest part of the course is through the Ohio State campus, most likely because parking is impossible.
Good spectators - around OSU is a bit thinner, water stops were well-organized, clif-sponsored pace groups were effective
Good course, a lot of spectators; great weather that day; I would suggest this for trying to qualify for Boston |
