2009/2010 Charlottesville Ten Miler
Training Program

WHAT: This professionally supervised five month program is designed to safely guide folks of all abilities to their individual Ten Miler running goals. The overall group will be broken into four different program levels based on each person's individual current training regimen. First time or out-of-shape folks are especially encouraged to joing us for the 22nd edition of this popular training program (over 3,900 have participated in this program over the years)! The overall goal of the program is to guide each individual to a safe and successful completion of the area's oldest footrace and to make exercise a permanent part of each participant's lifestyle!

WHEN: The Training Program will meet as a group every Saturday at the U.Va. Track (Lannigan Field) starting at 8:00 am on October 31, 2009 for a quick lecture, tips, and a group run. Attendance at these weekly group runs is optional.

COST: The cost of the training program is a $15 donation to the Charlottesville Track Club.

COACH: Mark Lorenzoni has served as volunteer coach since the program started.  He is assisted by a team of seasoned “Captains” who will oversee much of the training.
